Attention to craft is essential, without it a piece cannot feel complete. The stylistic approach of expressive line that I so often choose requires intentionality. Hand-drawn typography can become messy or too rigid very easily. It involves taking the time to redraw the same exact letters over and over again until the line language aligns with the overall concept. Logical craft through rulers and grid systems create balance, leading to clear communication and attention to hierarchy. Even the smallest or most unimportant piece of information must be carefully crafted into the design, or it can quickly interrupt the experience of the piece.
