Ohio River Awareness Festival Concept Design
Most tri-state residents care about the Ohio River’s dirt and pollution to some extent. Few care enough or know enough to contribute to cleanup efforts or pollution prevention directly. There are river cleanup events and foundations, but they rarely attract massive amounts of people. Festivals like Blink and Oktoberfest, however, are largely successful.
Tasked to design for good, Emily Fithen, Jess Allen, and I focused on solving the problem by creating a festival concept that celebrates Cincinnati pride and shows appreciation for the Ohio River and how it connects our communities.
One of the main roles I took on in this project was logo creation and way-finding: a map, signage, and placement plan.
